Is there an age restriction for the tour?

Anyone 18 years or older can join the tour. Apart from that, there are no age restrictions and people have enjoyed the tour of all ages as long as they are ready for some fun and adventure. We firmly believe that age doesn’t matter and that attitude is more important. For older travelers we stress that this type of overland group tour is inherently more rigorous than conventional vacations and can to some people be physically demanding. You will be expected to carry your own bag.
We cannot accept bookings from unaccompanied minors.

Are airport transfers included?

We do not include airport transfers. It is very easy and safe (and much more economical) to take a taxi from the international airport to the hotel. The international airport in Buenos Aires (Ezeiza) is modern and well ordered, and taxis can be organised from official taxi companies before you exit to the main area of the airport. Why do I need Travel Medical Insurance

While Big Planet Adventures takes all precautions to ensure that your travel with us is safe and enjoyable, certain risks are inevitably involved while traveling. It is unfeasible for us to assume these inherent risks on your behalf and therefore we require you to assess these risks and purchase your own short-term travel medical insurance. We also strongly suggest you purchase a general travel insurance. Cost effective and simple, travel insurance protects you and your equipment from any problems that might arise, such as damage or loss of baggage, health problems, cancelled or delayed trips, and other unanticipated disturbances. You can purchase travel insurance from a variety of places including our booking agents. Click here for a list of links to on-line websites that can provide you with Travel Insurance.
