In Argentina the official currency is the Argentine Peso. After recent economic problems in 2003, the Argentine Peso has stabilised and is now valued at around 3 Pesos = US$1
In Brazil the official currency is the Real. Its value is quite stable as well is currently valued at around 2.6 Reais = US$1
